STONE TAPE SONATA is an immersive, site-specific, free roam theatre production. This means that you won’t spend the evening sitting in a chair watching a story unfold before your eyes. Instead, you need to take active steps to become a part of that same story. Once you have entered the site of the play, you are left to roam the premises freely to see what you can discover. Scenes will be unfolding simultaneously in different rooms and spaces of the premises. Consequently, it is not the objective of the format for you to get or understand the whole story. Rather, it is about stepping inside the story—and finding your own way through it, choosing where to go, who to follow, and which moments to linger in. You might overhear a whispered confession in a hallway, stumble upon a secret…
