Important Information About Your Visit
You have come to this website because you got an invitation from Basil Hallward or Harri Wotton. Congratulations on being the special guest of such important and inspiring people! The following information is very important for your visit, so please read it carefully. If you prefer to read it in German, click here:
1. Information about Covid-19 regulations
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we ask you to adhere to the following rules of conduct during your visit in order to protect yourself and others as much as possible against contracting the Corona virus.
Please note these rules are stricter than the basic guidelines set down by the State of Baden-Württemberg.
Please wear a FFP2-mask during the entire duration of your visit. A hospital mask is not sufficient.
Please observe a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other people at all times.
The actors will not be wearing masks, but will keep a distance of two metres from all audience members at all times. If you are uncomfortable with that, please do not attend the show.
People who have purchased a couple ticket can stand, sit and walk in close proximity to each other. Couple tickets are only available for people living in the same household or people in a steady, long-term relationship. If you have purchased a couple ticket, you will be asked to sign a form certifying that you and the other person you bought the ticket with constitute a household as laid down by the Covid regulations of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
In order to be admitted to the show, you need to bring proof of a negative Covid-19 test result, which has been issued on the day of the performance. You will be asked to show your test result along with your ID in order to check that you have been tested negative. Please note that the result of a self-test or a test performed by non-certified individuals is not sufficient. Please note as well that even fully vaccinated individuals as well as individuals who have recovered from Corona need to get themselves tested before arriving at the show.
Should you experience typical Covid-related symptoms such as a breathing difficulties, a dry cough, a high temperature or a loss of the sense of taste and smell, we ask you to not come to the show in order to protect the other members of the audience. We earnestly ask you to follow all these rules religiously in order to protect yourself as well as everybody involved in this production against contracting the Corona virus. At the same time, please be advised that there always remains a risk of infection, even if everybody abides by all the rules. By coming to this performance you agree to take that risk.
Despite all the precautionary measures, we hope that you will enjoy the show and are very much looking forward to welcoming you to one of our shows and to sharing this live theatre event with you after this long time of social distancing.
2. How to find us
The Picture of Dory Ann Gray is an immersive, site-specific production in English taking place at the Business Development Center at Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Ring A 5, 69124 Heidelberg. Please note that this production is a promenade performance, which means that the audience will be taken from scene to scene through the building, either walking or standing for most of the 90 minutes of the play.
There is limited parking in the vicinity of the building.
Bus stop outside the building: Mary-Sommerville-Platz
Nearest tram stop: Rudolf-Diesel-Straße (5 minutes walking distance)
Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the show.
3. How best to prepare for the show
In order for you to enjoy the show in the best possible way, we advise you to download the messenger app Telegram onto your mobile phone. This will offer you a unique insight into the world of Dory Ann and her friends and colleagues. Please note that it is not necessary to have Telegram on your mobile phone for you to enjoy the show and follow the story. This is merely an optional extra, which will allow you to experience the world of the play more fully.
We have chosen to work with Telegram on this show as it is one of the messenger services that protects your personal data the best. You can hide your name and your phone number and be as anonymous as possible during the show and uninstall the app as soon as you leave. If you decide to go ahead and download the app for the show, please take the following steps in order to use the app during the show.
Privacy settings: in order for your personal data to be protected, please follow these steps:
